The Ministry of European Integration of the Government of the Republic of Serbia, in cooperation with the Journalists' Association of Serbia (UNS) and project ‘Strengthening visibility and communication activities on IPA programmes in the Republic of Serbia’, has organised a seminar for journalists titled EU za tebe – on EU funds, IPA programme and sources of information on the EU. The seminar was held at the UNS Press Centre.
The training was attended by journalists from the local and national media, while the objective of the training was to inform the participants about EU funds and the assistance Serbia receives from IPA, about key instruments of EU support to reforms in Serbia, and about the ways media report on EU funds and how much citizens know about the projects financed from these funds. Particular focus was placed on the sources of information on the EU. The lecturers were the representatives of the Ministry of European Integration, EU Delegation to Serbia and the project aimed at better communication of IPA.
