In the Section for Managing Projects Financed from EU Funds and Development Assistance, the following tasks related to projects financed from EU funds and development assistance are carried out under the competence of the Ministry: identification, organisation, implementation and monitoring of the implementation of projects that have been approved for financing from EU funds and development assistance in accordance with relevant procedures; proposing projects in accordance with the procedure established by the National IPA Coordinator; participation in the development/updating of the public procurement plan for approved projects; preparation of relevant project and technical documentation and management of strategic projects to support the implementation of EU macro-regional strategies in which the Ministry of European Integration is a partner; organisation and coordination of proposing members of the Committee for the evaluation of tender proposals and tender participation; participation in relevant programme monitoring committees; administrative and preparatory tasks related to tender documentation, as well as to the supervision and implementation of contractual obligations by the contractor; preparation and submission of reports on project implementation and filing of necessary documentation for the purpose of conducting the audit procedure; conducting control and confirming the correctness of narrative reports related to project implementation, including on-the-spot control; participation in processes related to professional development of civil servants in the Division; implementation of measures for the establishment, functioning and sustainability of the system for indirect management of EU funds in accordance with the relevant procedures; participation in the processes related to the professional development of civil servants in the Division, as well as other tasks in this area related to the implementation of bilateral and donor projects under the Ministry’s competence.
