Implementation Workshop was held within IPA Cross-border Cooperation Programme  Serbia-Montenegro 2014-2020

The two-day Implementation workshop for the awarded grant beneficiaries within the 1st Call for Proposals for the Cross-border Cooperation Programme Serbia–Montenegro 2014-2020 was held on April 17-18, 2019 on Zlatar Mountain, Nova Varoš municipality, Serbia. With regard to provide support project partners in implemetation of the project, the workshop was organized by Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Serbia, Department for Contracting and Financing of EU Funded Programmes (CFCU),with the assistance of the Joint Technical Secretariat of the Programme.

Representatives of team members of the awarded projects as well as the representatives of Programme Operating Structures, i.e. the Ministry of European Integration of the Republic of Serbia and the European Integration Office of Montenegro attended this event.

Grant beneficiaries had opportunity to be introduced to the legal framework of the implementation of the CBC projects under IPA programmes 2014-2020 and to inform on the implementation process of the projects funded by the EU (financial management, secondary procurement, reporting, auditing, monitoring, visibility) in order to prepare themselves for the implementation of projects awarded within the 1st Call for Proposals. Further consultations and assistance will be available to grant beneficiaries through the Joint Technical Secretariat/ Antenna of the Programme.

The Cross-border Cooperation Programme of Serbia –Montenegro 2014-2020 is financed by the European Union under the Instrument for Pre-accession Assistance (IPA II), with the aim of strengthening socio-economic development in this cross-border area.
