On 25 June, Minister of European Integration Nemanja Starović participated in the Ukraine Recovery Conference in Gdansk. This international gathering was dedicated to coordinating support for Ukraine, its economic recovery, infrastructure reconstruction, and strengthening international cooperation in the country's recovery process.
The Conference brought together representatives of governments, international organisations, financial institutions, and the business sector, with the aim of considering further steps in supporting Ukraine's recovery and advancing international efforts for its long-term development and stability.
The Republic of Serbia remains committed to providing humanitarian aid to Ukraine. It supports the efforts of the international community to mitigate the consequences of the conflict and recover affected areas. Serbia consistently supports the sovereignty and territorial integrity of all internationally recognised states, including Ukraine, in accordance with the principles of international law and the United Nations Charter.
On the sidelines of the Conference, Minister Starović held several bilateral meetings. He met with the Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration Taras Kachka, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Poland Radosław Sikorski, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania Kęstutis Budrys, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Estonia Margus Tsahkna, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Slovenia Tone Kajzer. He also held talks with Italy's Minister for European Affairs, the NRRP and Cohesion Policies Tommaso Foti, and the US Deputy Secretary of State for Foreign Assistance, Humanitarian Affairs, and Religious Freedom Jeremy Levin. These meetings focused on topics of importance for Serbia's European integration, bilateral cooperation, and current issues on the European and international agenda.
