The Final Event of the Presidency of North Macedonia of the EU Strategy for the Adriatic and Ionian Region (EUSAIR), entitled “Accelerating EUSAIR: From Commitment to Tangible Results”, will take place on 19–20 May 2026 in Skopje, with accompanying events scheduled for 18 May 2026.
This important annual forum brings together representatives of public authorities and European institutions, regional and local partners, civil society organisations, young people, and the expert community, with the aim of further strengthening cooperation in the Adriatic–Ionian region.
The 2026 Forum will focus on improving the implementation of the revised EUSAIR Action Plan, strengthening cooperation in the context of the EU enlargement process, encouraging the active involvement of young people, and addressing demographic challenges. Special attention will be given to supporting cross-border cooperation and further regional integration.
The Forum will offer an opportunity for the exchange of experiences, an assessment of achieved results, and the identification of next steps in the implementation of the Strategy, with the participation of relevant stakeholders from all levels of governance.
