Minister of European Integration at the Government of Serbia Nemanja Starović met today with Director-General of the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Neighbourhood and Enlargement Negotiations (DG NEAR) Gert Jan Koopman.
During the meeting, the interlocutors exchanged views on the Growth Plan and the Reform Agenda, as well as on the further steps Serbia was undertaking in the European integration process. Minister Starović underlined that the Government of Serbia was fully committed to implementing reforms that would bring tangible benefits to citizens, through strengthening institutions and the rule of law, as well as improving economic and social standards.
Minister Starović also expressed his confidence that, with the support of the European Commission, Serbia would continue to make progress on its European path, stressing that Serbia’s strategic commitment was full European Union membership.
