Minister of European Integration at the Government of Serbia Nemanja Starović met today in Belgrade with EU Special Representative for the Belgrade–Priština Dialogue Peter Sørensen.
The meeting focused on the current state of the dialogue, as well as on the position of the Serbian people in Kosovo and Metohija. Minister Starović emphasised that Priština’s unilateral actions were creating increasing difficulties for the continuation and substantive progress of the talks, underlining the necessity of respecting the agreements reached so far.
Sørensen stressed that the European Union remained committed to its role as mediator in the dialogue, as well as to supporting regional stability.
