Serbia Sends Humanitarian Aid to Ukraine

Minister of European Integration of the Government of the Republic of Serbia Nemanja Starović stated today, on the occasion of the delivery of humanitarian aid to Ukraine, that Serbia had sent more financial and material assistance, along with electrical power equipment, to Ukraine’s civilian population over the past three and a half years than the other Western Balkan countries combined.

“Serbia, as a responsible and solidarity-based state, has continuously supported the Ukrainian people. Significant aid has been sent in the form of food, medicine, and electrical power equipment intended for the civilian population. With today’s donation, we continue to make a tangible contribution to the reconstruction of Ukraine’s energy infrastructure,” emphasised Minister Starović.

Together with Head of the European Union Delegation to Serbia Emanuele Giaufret and Ambassador of Ukraine to Serbia Volodymyr Tolkach, he attended the official handover of humanitarian aid in the form of energy equipment, essential for restoring Ukraine’s electricity network.
