The Department for Communications, Training and Preparation of the Serbian Version of the Acquis Communautaire performs tasks related to the following: informing the public and promoting activities in the process of accession to the European Union; developing and implementing a communication strategy for informing the public about various aspects of the EU accession process, as well as monitoring its implementation; maintaining the Ministry's website and updating information on the aspects of the accession of the Republic of Serbia to the European Union; promotion of activities related to IPA funds; provision of information of public importance; coordination of cooperation between state administration bodies and the European Commission and other specialised bodies of the European Union in the field of communications; conducting the needs analysis, planning and organisation of training courses in the field of European integration in cooperation with other state administration bodies and government services; coordination of translation and preparation of translations of the European Union legislation into the Serbian language; coordination of legal, expert and language revision of translated legal acts; coordinating the drafting of proposals for the establishment of a unique EU terminology and the development of glossaries of the EU terminology in the Serbian language and cooperation with institutions in the Republic of Serbia, competent EU bodies and countries in the region for the purpose of improving the translation and revision process, as well as other activities in this field.
For the purpose of performing the tasks falling within the scope of the Department for Communications, Training and Preparation of the Serbian Version of the Acquis Communautaire, the following internal units are established:
1. Division for Communications;
2. Group for Training;
3. Division for the Preparation of the Serbian Version of the Acquis Communautaire.
