Centre of Excellence for Supporting European Integration

The project for the establishment of the Centre of Excellence within the Ministry of European Integration aims to strengthen the capacities of public institutions of the Republic of Serbia in the European Union accession process. The Centre is intended to serve as a resource point for coordination, data and expert exchange, with the goal of improving the efficiency of reform processes.

The idea is for the Centre to act as a coordinating body for recruiting experts and providing technical support to institutions involved in Serbia’s European Union accession negotiations. The support is focused on specific reform tasks in cooperation with the institutions involved in the process and in accordance with their needs. The Centre should also support the transfer of knowledge and good practices to other EU candidate countries.

The project is part of the “Knowledge for Reform Action in the Western Balkans” programme, implemented by the Ministry of European Integration and the United Nations Office for Project Services under the patronage of the Kingdom of Norway. It runs from February to December 2025, with a total budget of USD 200,000.
