Cross-border Cooperation Programme Serbia - Macedonia continues to organize workshops on writing projects and info-days for all stakeholders who plan to submit, on time and following EU rules, their project proposals for this Programme’s First Call soon expected to be announced. Following the widespread interest and successful workshops organized in late November in Vranje and Skopje, training courses will be organised in Kumanovo (11 and 12 December) and Leskovac (24 and 25 December). On 26 November 2018, in Pirot, the Sixth Joint Monitoring Committee meeting under Interreg-IPA Cross-border Cooperation Bulgaria-Serbia Programme was held. The meeting was chaired by Valentina Vidović, Ministry of the European Integration of the Republic of Serbia and co-chaired by Denitsa Nikolova, Deputy Minister of the Regional Development and Public Works of the Republic of Bulgaria.

Today, the Ministry of European Integration has organised a seminar titled ‘Intellectual Property Rights II: Patent Law’.

The Danube Transnational Programme provides financial support to projects that contribute to the development of an innovative, better integrated and sustainable Danube Region. The total budget of the third call for proposals is 60 million EUR (3.3 million will be provided from the IPA). The exact date of the call will be announced soon.

The Workshop on project cycle management “Preparation of project proposals for the Cross-border Cooperation Programme Serbia-Montenegro 2014-2020” was held on October 24-25, 2018 in Vrnjacka Banja. With regard to preparation for the Second Call for Proposals, the workshop was organized  by the Ministry of European Integration of the Republic of Serbia and the European Integration Office of the Government of Montenegro with the assistance of the Joint Technical Secretariat of the Programme.
