Minister of European Integration at the Government of the Republic of Serbia Nemanja Starović met today with H.E. Akira Imamura, Ambassador of Japan to Belgrade.
In a cordial and open conversation, Minister Starović expressed gratitude for Japan’s continuous and significant support of Serbia, both through bilateral cooperation and within the framework of development projects and technical assistance. The value of Japanese donations in healthcare, infrastructure, environment, and education – directly contributing to improving the quality of life of Serbian citizens – was particularly emphasised.
Minister Starović underlined that Serbia would remain committed to strengthening overall cooperation with Japan, including in the fields of economy, innovation, culture, and education, and that it would continue with the consistent implementation of reforms within the European integration process.
