“It is important to open the topic of the internal dialogue on addressing the Kosovo issue so as to see where we stand, what we can do together”, said Jadranka Joksimović, Minister of European Integration.
As a guest at TV Pink, she emphasised that it was legitimate that President of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić should do it because he had been directly involved in the part of the dialogue opened through the conclusion of the Brussels Agreement.
“Having addressed all circumstances - not only problems but also the issue of perspective − through participating in the high level political dialogue and technical meetings, it is legitimate to open the topic to see where we stand, what we can do together and whether we can reach some consensus”, Joksimović emphasised.
According to her, this is not easy but the goal is legitimate and achievable within several years.
She pointed out that the duty of each participant in the public life - the intellectual, political elite, was to respond to the call for the dialogue, to say what they think.
“You have been asked, don’t later say you had the solution but nobody asked you”, she concluded.
