The Ministry of European Integration Launches Public Call for National Co-financing of European Territorial Cooperation Projects

Today, the Ministry of European Integration launched a public call for grant applications to co-finance projects funded under the European Territorial Cooperation Programmes for 2026. Through this initiative, the Ministry supports beneficiaries from the Republic of Serbia in securing national co-financing. This effort aims to enhance the implementation of European Territorial Cooperation Programmes, strengthen cross-border and transnational cooperation, and ensure more efficient utilisation of European Union funds.

A total amount of RSD 35 million has been allocated for this purpose These funds will be awarded to project partners from the Republic of Serbia to co-finance their required financial contributions for approved projects under the European Territorial Cooperation Programmes.

Legal entities with their registered seat in the Republic of Serbia that participate as lead partners or project partners in projects approved for financing under regular calls for proposals of the European Territorial Cooperation Programmes are eligible to participate, provided that the project implementation does not end before 30 November 2026.

An individual project partner may be awarded up to 50 per cent of its verified own contribution, up to a maximum amount of RSD 5 million per project partner for the implementation of a single project. Project partners may submit multiple applications for different projects, provided they meet all eligibility criteria for each submission.

Applications may be submitted from the date of publication of the public call, while the final deadline for the submission of applications is 27 July 2026.

The Ministry invites all interested project partners who meet the eligibility requirements to submit their applications in a timely manner and take advantage of this national co-financing opportunity, which contributes to the more successful implementation of projects and more efficient utilisation of European Union funds in the Republic of Serbia.
