Call for Complete Project Proposals under the Interreg VI-A Bulgaria–Serbia 2021–2027 Programme

The Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works of the Republic of Bulgaria, in cooperation with the Ministry of European Integration of the Republic of Serbia, invites candidates with approved project ideas within the Territorial Strategy of the Interreg VI-A Bulgaria–Serbia 2021–2027 Programme to submit their complete project proposals. A total of 12 project ideas in the fields of tourism and cultural and historical heritage have been allocated to the main and reserve lists. These proposals include the restoration of fortresses and museums, the purchase of bicycles and construction of bicycle lanes, the organisation of festivals, balloon rides, etc.

Invited candidates include, among others, municipalities, cultural and educational centres, and non-governmental organisations from the cross-border region of the programme, which includes the districts of Vidin, Montana, Vratsa, Sofia Region, Pernik, and Kyustendil from Bulgaria, and Bor, Zaječar, Niš, Toplica, Pirot, Jablanica, and Pčinja districts from Serbia. The available budget is EUR 8.5 million.
