Raising strategic partnership between Serbia and China

President of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić and President of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping signed today the Joint statement on deepening and raising the comprehensive strategic partnership and building the community of Serbia and China with a common future in the new era, at a ceremony at which 28 documents on cooperation were exchanged.

Minister of European Integration Tanja Miščević and Director of the International Development Cooperation Agency Luo Zhaohui exchanged an Agreement on Economic and Technical Cooperation for the provision of grants between the Government of Serbia and the Government of China.

They also exchanged letters on the preparation of the feasibility study for the Ministry of Education's "Smart Education and Digital Schools" project between the Government of Serbia and the China International Development Cooperation Agency, as well as a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in the area of human resources development between the Ministry of European Integration of Serbia and the China International Development Cooperation Agency.

Among others, the documents exchanged are the Extradition Agreement and the Agreement on Judicial Assistance in Civil and Commercial Matters, the Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation in the Field of Green and Sustainable Development, the Memorandum of Understanding on Strengthening Cooperation in the Field of the Digital Economy, the Protocol for Improving the Agreement on Economic and Technical Cooperation in the field of Infrastructure.

Also, the Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation in the field of Electronic Commerce was exchanged, as well as the Agreement on Cooperation and Mutual Assistance in Customs Matters, the Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation on Poverty Alleviation through Science and Technology, the Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation in the Field of Information and Communication Technologies, the Memorandum of Understanding in the field of Geology and Mining and the Programme of cooperation in the field of culture.
