Webinar on the European Semester

The Ministry of European Integration, in cooperation with the Hanns Seidel Foundation, has organised a two-day webinar titled ‘European Semester for EU member states and cooperation with the Republic of Serbia’.

The goal of this training course that has started today is to introduce participants with the notion of Economic Management in the EU and the European Semester and with the development of cooperation between the EU and the Republic of Serbia in the area of economic policy coordination. In addition, the course touched upon the EU acquis and novelties in the area of monetary and economic policy.

The lecturers were Verica Ignjatović, Acting Assistant Minister, and Ljubica Matić, Head of Department at the Ministry of Finance.

Participants include representatives of the Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications, Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management, Ministry of Mining and Energy, Ministry of Defence, National Bank of Serbia, State Audit Institution, Commission for State Aid Control, Deposit Insurance Agency, and the Social Inclusion and Poverty Reduction Unit.
