Serbia's Chairmanship of EU Strategy for the Adriatic and Ionian Region concluded with the adoption of the "Belgrade Declaration"

Serbia’s Chairmanship of the EU Strategy for the Adriatic-Ionian Region (EUSAIR) and the Adriatic-Ionian Initiative ended on May 31, 2020 with the adoption of the "Belgrade Declaration", a document summarising the results achieved during the Chairmanship and providing guidance for future joint activities.

Nine countries are participating in the EUSAIR: the Republic of Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, the Republic of Croatia, the Hellenic Republic, the Republic of Italy, the Republic of North Macedonia, the Republic of Slovenia and the Republic of Serbia while the Adriatic-Ionian Initiative also includes the Republic of San Marino.
