Exhibition ‘Applied Nostalgia: Serbia–Finland’ opened in Niš

After Belgrade, the photo exhibition ‘Applied Nostalgia: Serbia–Finland’ has been opened today at the Nikola Tesla University Library in Niš. The exhibition has been organised by the Ministry of European Integration of the Republic of Serbia, in cooperation with the civil society organisation ‘Young Ambassadors’.

The exhibition has been opened by Milica Marković Tomić, Head of the Group for Communication on EU Funds at the Ministry of European Integration, while Snežana Bojević, Director of the University Library, and Snežana Andrić, President of ‘Young Ambassadors’, also addressed the audience.

Milica Marković Tomić has thanked the hosts for their long-standing cooperation and support. She has emphasised that ‘Applied Nostalgia’ is a project that holds great importance, because the citizens of Serbia have the opportunity to see the cooperation between our country and an EU presiding country – currently Finland, in the area of culture and art.

She has further stated the Ministry of European Integration dedicates a significant part of its work to the development of communication activities that contribute to timely informing our citizens on the EU accession process and EU funds in Serbia.

Snežana Andrić and Snežana Bojević have thanked the Ministry of European Integration for the trust it has for the fourth time placed in them to jointly organise this exhibition in Niš. They have expressed hope that successful cooperation will continue and that good projects such as this one will again be brought to Niš and beyond – to the region of south-east Serbia.

The exhibition will be opened until 4 December.
