Тhe seventh Applied Nostalgia exhibition of photographs, organised by the Serbian European Integration Office, in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia, in Belgrade, will be open on Thursday 25 July at the Gallery of the National Bank of Serbia. The exhibition is one of the activities of SEIO in implementation of the Communication Strategy for the Accession of the Republic of Serbia to the European Union.

The exhibition will be opened by Serbian and Lithuanian ministers of foreign affairs, Mr Ivan Mrkić and Mr Linas Linkevičius, followed by brief speeches of Serbian European Integration Office representatives and UNDP Resident Representative in Serbia who gave financial support to this activity. Also, this exhibition will be shown to the audience in Vilnius by the end of the year.

The Applied Nostalgia project covers organising and presenting the exhibition of photographs made in the capital of the EU Presidency (photographer from Serbia) and in Belgrade (Lithuanian photographer). In the last week of May, the author from Serbia visited Vilnius, capital of Lithuania and took photos of places, events, scenes and people that reminded him of his own city. The author from the EU Presidency visited Belgrade and also took photos of this city on the same subject. The main idea of Applied Nostalgia is to promote cultural exchange between the two countries, and to promote European values and cooperation of Serbia with the EU Member States.
