J. Joksimović: EU has a chance to realise the true goals of Pristina

The ban on the entry of Serbian officials in the territory of Kosovo and Metohija is the latest anti-European move by Pristina, which consciously, systematically and purposely tramples over all fundamental European values and additionally undermines the possibility of continuing the dialogue, Minister of European Integration Jadranka Joksimović has said today.

Asked by Tanjug to comment on the ban on the entry of Serbian officials in the territory of Kosovo and Metohija, Joksimović has said that Pristina, in addition to several months of already demonstrated non-compliance with the principle of free movement of goods and services by introducing tariffs on goods from central Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina, is now moving a step further, towards degrading another key and fundamental European value – the freedom of movement of people.

The Minister has said that the EU and its members now have a chance to realise the true nature and goals of Pristina.

“The EU and its members have a chance to realise the true nature and goals of Pristina, which consciously, systematically and purposely tramples over all fundamental European values and additionally undermines the possibility of continuing the dialogue and attempts to find sustainable solutions that President Vučić and the Serbian Government are responsibly and resolutely advocating” Joksimović has stressed.
