Serbia joins Japan Volunteers Programme

 

Minister of European Integration in the Government of the Republic of Serbia Jadranka Joksimović and Japanese Ambassador to Serbia Junichi Maruyama have signed today the Agreement on the Establishment of the Japan Overseas Cooperation Volunteers Programme. The agreement was signed in the Palace of Serbia during the visit of Japanese Prime Minister Shinzō Abe. Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić also attended the occasion. The signed document envisages that experts from Japan will provide assistance in the development of local self-governments in Serbia in the areas of education, culture, environmental protection, health, sports etc.
