J. Joksimović and Repčekova: Slovakia continues to support Serbia’s EU path

Minister of European Integration Jadranka Joksimović met with the Ambassador of the Slovak Republic Dagmar Repčekova to discuss bilateral relations, cooperation between the two countries and the reforms implemented by Serbia in the European Union accession process, as well as the current situation in the region.

Minister Joksimović thanked the Slovak Republic for its continuous support and assistance provided to Serbia in its European integration process, and confirmed that the European Union has a reliable partner in Serbia, which will continue to actively contribute to resolution of challenges faced by the EU.

Repčekova praised the progress of reforms achieved by the Serbian Government so far, which is also reflected in opening of new chapters in the accession process, and she underlined that Slovakia would continue to actively support Serbia on its European path.

The ministers acknowledged that there was a lot of space for intensifying cooperation between our countries, among other through Višegrad group that Slovakia is a member of. They also noted that stability and regional cooperation were significant both for the immediate neighbourhood and for the European Union.

Joksimović and Repčekova used the opportunity to exchange greetings for the upcoming holidays.
