“Serbia has shown that regional stability is its national, economic and political interest, but other countries are also expected to show responsibility and maturity, and to act in line with the important principle of European integration”, Minister of European Integration Jadranka Joksimović has said today.
She has added that the goal of regional cooperation, which was the topic of the conference in Berlin, is "to show that we are able to cooperate and solve outstanding issues through dialogue, and not conflict."
"There are outstanding issues even among the Member States in the European Union today, but these are not resolved through conflict, but at a round-table discussion at which everyone expresses their expectations and interests, while the solution is achieved through dialogue, cooperation and compromise," the Minister has said.
Joksimović has participated in the conference Public Dialogue in Europe − Reconnecting the EU with its Citizens and Neighbourhood in Berlin.
