Minister of European Integration Jadranka Joksimović has met today with Cypriot Minister of Foreign Affairs Nikos Christodoulides and has said that Cyprus is a friendly country that has shown extraordinary understanding for Serbia’s European path.

Joksimović has stated that Serbia and Cyprus not only have no outstanding issues, but are also two countries that support each other in the most important matters, such as territorial integrity and sovereignty.

Serbia is far on its European path, and when it will achieve the goal, namely, membership in the European Union, depends on both Brussels and Belgrade. European officials informally refer to 2025 as the framework year of accession, which, according to our interlocutor, is an indication that Serbia is seriously counted on. Although it seems to some that the aforementioned year is far away and that the process of association is slow and conditioned, reforms that ensure membership, and perhaps the most important - better society as a whole, continue to be implemented.

The Ministry of European Integration has organised today a seminar titled ‘Intellectual Property Rights I: The Law on Trademarks and Design’.
The main objective of the seminar is for the participants to acquire new knowledge on determining competence in the field of intellectual property rights, i.e. trademark and design protection rights, from the experience of a member state and to learn about the examples of good practice. Representatives of the Ministry of European Integration, Intellectual Property Office, Ministry of Justices and prosecutor’s offices attended the training.

Exhibition ‘Applied Nostalgia’ opened in Belgrade

Minister of European Integration Jadranka Joksimović and Ambassador of the Republic of Bulgaria to Serbia Radko Vlaykov, opened yesterday the fourteenth photo exhibition from the ‘Applied Nostalgia’ series in the presence of President of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić and President of the Republic of Bulgaria Rumen Radev. This time, the exhibition is dedicated to Belgrade and Sofia.
The exhibition will be open to the public at the Gallery of the National Bank of Serbia, located in 17 Nemanjina street, until 27 June, on working days from 10h to 18h.
