Minister of European Integration Jadranka Joksimović has said that today’s resolution adopted in Strasbourg in the European Parliament, at the Stabilisation and Association Parliamentary Committee between the EU and Serbia, is one of the most positive European Parliament resolutions Serbia has had so far.

Minister of European Integration Jadranka Joksimović has said, at a conference where the results achieved over the past two years within the Horizontal Facility Programme for the Western Balkans and Turkey were analysed, that the reforms in the field of the rule of law will not cease even after chapters 23 and 24 are closed at the end of the European integration process.

After the meeting with the ambassadors of the EU Member States in Brussels, Minister of European Integration Jadranka Joksimović stated that none of the participants had mentioned any direct involvement or change in the format of the dialogue.
"There were no interventions in terms of direct involvement or change in the format. The process itself is indeed complicated, and carries a lot of difficulties and uncertainties, but there is understanding and perception that Belgrade is the one who has fulfilled its obligations as signed, while the others have not," said Joksimović.

Minister of European Integration Jadranka Joksimović has introduced the ambassadors of the EU Member States in Brussels with the reforms, political circumstances and the situation in Serbia.
"Serbia's commitment is undeniable. The implemented reforms have been commended. We are expected to advance further and faster. Serbia is counted on, which is why we are encouraged to be faster," Joksimović has said.

Minister of European Integration Jadranka Joksimović has said today that by the end June Serbia could open two new chapters in accession negotiations with the European Union.
After the meeting with Commissioner Johannes Hahn in Brussels, she announced the signing of a part of pre-accession funds in the amount of EUR 42 million and funds for farmers worth EUR 175 million in grants.

The EU PRO Programme has been presented today as part of the EU support for the development of local municipalities, which should contribute to the improvement of competitiveness in 99 local self-governments in the region of Šumadija and Western Serbia, as well as in the region of Southern and Eastern Serbia, while the projects that will be supported shall be selected through public calls, according to predefined criteria.
The Programme includes support to entrepreneurs, small and medium-sized enterprises for their procurement of equipment and service improvement, as well as the improvement of specialized services for small and medium-sized enterprises. The amount of EUR 25 million is allocated for implementation, as designated by the EU and the Government of Serbia, and the period of implementation will be three years.
