“Actors on the political scene, especially representatives of parliamentary parties, must learn that they cannot easily make threats and jeopardise anyone’s security, because that implies that competent institutions should react and take appropriate measures,” stated Minister of European Integration Jadranka Joksimović today. She has said that “many who strive to have influence and any kind of significance in the political life of Serbia, particularly representatives of a party that nonetheless entered the Parliament, will have to learn that they cannot easily make threats and jeopardise anyone’s security in a rule-of-law state”.

At a conference held today in Belgrade it has been concluded that Serbia is the first country outside the EU to join the EU's Rights, Equality and Citizenship Programme, which has provided it access to funds intended for additional strengthening and empowerment of vulnerable groups.
